Keep using the AI you know, for free: connect it so it can read your Cloud projects and propose changes, or copy & paste with any AI.

  1. Open your assistant

    In Claude (desktop or web), open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it VerSketch, paste the server URL below, then choose Continue.

    On the next page Claude detects the right settings itself: keep Authentication on “Sign in now” and OAuth client on “Use your own OAuth client”. Paste the client ID below, leave the client secret blank, add no request headers, then choose Add.

  3. Sign in with AIVerID

    The connector page says you are not connected yet — choose Connect. Claude Desktop first asks you to confirm you started this from the app; continue. Sign in with AIVerID, approve the permissions, and allow the browser to open Claude. Back in Claude, VerSketch lists its tools; you can set the read-only tools to Always allow so Claude stops asking before each read.

  4. Let Claude use the tools

    In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → VerSketch and set Read-only tools to Always allow. Keep Create project and Create proposal on Needs approval, and press Allow on the card Claude shows in the chat when it wants to create.

    Skipping this is the most common failure: a tool left on Needs approval with nobody answering the card fails with “No approval received”. That message comes from Claude, not VerSketch — the request never reached the server.

  5. Ask your AI to check the connection

    Send this request in your AI chat. Reading real project data confirms access; opening this guide alone does not.

    When your assistant asks permission before a tool call, answer it in the chat. An unanswered prompt fails on the assistant’s side; VerSketch never sees the call.

    Use VerSketch to read the authoring schema and list my Cloud projects. Do not create or change anything. Tell me whether you can read my projects and which authoring features are supported.

  6. Describe a change, then review it on the canvas

    Ask your assistant to create a design or edit an existing one. It reads the model, checks its proposed changes, and returns a review link. Open the link in VerSketch to preview and accept or reject the proposal. Your accepted work is saved through the project’s normal save flow.

Remote connections work with your Cloud projects. Device-only projects stay in your browser unless you choose to share a package or move them to Cloud.

An authorized connection can read your account’s Cloud projects and propose changes. It cannot accept proposals for you. Never paste access tokens into an AI chat.
