Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-08-22
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Jittapol Prukpatarakul (จิตรพล พฤกษ์ภัทรกุล) (“VerSketch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to versketch.xyz and related services (the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering into these Terms. If local law requires parental, guardian, school, or organisational approval, you may use the Service only after that approval has been obtained.
2. The Service
VerSketch provides browser-based tools for creating, editing, storing, converting, reviewing, exporting, and sharing architectural or spatial drawings and related project information.
Features may include:
- local and cloud project storage;
- drawing and floor-plan editing;
- AI-assisted conversion from text, images, or edit instructions;
- PDF, DXF, image, or other exports;
- informational code-check references;
- read-only project sharing; and
- paid subscription features.
Feature availability may vary by account, device, browser, jurisdiction, or subscription.
3. AIVerID Account
VerSketch uses AIVerID OAuth for authentication and does not issue or store your AIVerID password.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining control of your AIVerID account and devices;
- providing accurate account information;
- promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access;
- activities performed through your authenticated session; and
- signing out of shared devices.
Your use of AIVerID is also governed by AIVerID’s own terms and privacy notice.
4. Local and Cloud Projects
A project may be stored locally in your browser, in the VerSketch cloud, or in both locations.
Local-only projects may be lost if you clear site data, use private-browsing mode, replace or reset your device, or remove the browser profile. VerSketch cannot normally recover data that was never uploaded to the cloud.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies and exports of important work.
Cloud synchronization may encounter conflicts, delayed updates, or failed uploads. You should verify that important changes have been saved before closing the editor or relying on an exported result.
5. Your Ownership
5.1 Your work remains yours
As between you and VerSketch, you retain 100% ownership of:
- drawings and plans you create;
- text, images, geometry, annotations, and project data you submit;
- edits and creative decisions you make; and
- outputs generated for you from your content through the Service,
collectively, “User Content.”
VerSketch does not claim ownership of your User Content.
To the extent VerSketch would otherwise acquire any transferable right in an output created specifically for you, VerSketch assigns that right to you upon creation and payment of any applicable fees.
This ownership commitment is subject to applicable law and does not give you rights in:
- content owned by another person;
- third-party trademarks, plans, images, datasets, or protected works;
- open-source or licensed components incorporated under their own terms; or
- material for which applicable law does not recognise exclusive intellectual-property rights.
5.2 Limited licence to operate the Service
You grant VerSketch a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, process, transmit, display, convert, and technically modify User Content only as necessary to:
- provide features you request;
- save and synchronize projects;
- generate exports;
- operate a share link you create;
- maintain security and reliability;
- respond to support requests you initiate; and
- comply with law.
This licence does not permit VerSketch to sell your drawings or use them to train a general-purpose AI model without separate notice and consent where required.
The licence ends when the content is permanently deleted, except for protected backup copies, legal records, security records, or material we must retain under applicable law.
6. Your Responsibilities for Uploaded Content
You represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary to upload and process User Content.
You must not submit content that:
- infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, trade-secret, or other rights;
- contains unlawfully obtained architectural drawings or site information;
- contains personal or sensitive data you are not authorised to process;
- is deceptive, malicious, unlawful, or intended to facilitate harm;
- contains malware or code designed to disrupt the Service; or
- violates export-control, sanctions, or other applicable law.
If images include people, private property, confidential plans, or identifying information, you are responsible for obtaining any legally required notice, consent, or authority.
7. AI-Assisted Features
AI-assisted conversion is a drafting aid. Inputs may include text, images, project specifications, edit instructions, region, locale, and related context necessary to generate the requested result.
Conversion inputs are processed on VerSketch servers. When the active rail uses the current external AI-model provider, Anthropic, PBC, VerSketch sends the necessary input to that provider for processing in the United States; the official current list of AI providers is available at https://versketch.xyz/subprocessors. When the active rail uses the built-in solver, no external model provider receives the input, but the input is still processed on VerSketch servers rather than staying in the browser. Certain image workflows may temporarily use private VerSketch storage. Section 3.4 of the Privacy Policy describes what is sent, how long it is kept, and the transfer safeguards that apply. The interface identifies the rail that served each successful conversion.
If we change or add an AI provider, we will update the applicable notices and controls before the change takes effect.
AI-generated or AI-assisted results may:
- be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or unsuitable;
- omit construction, accessibility, structural, fire-safety, or regulatory requirements;
- differ between repeated requests;
- resemble material produced for other users; or
- require substantial professional correction.
You must review, validate, and edit every result before using it. AI output is not a substitute for an architect, engineer, surveyor, code consultant, contractor, or other licensed professional.
8. Code-Check Disclaimer
VerSketch code-check features provide informational references only.
They are not:
- a formal building-code analysis;
- an engineering or architectural certification;
- a permit review;
- a compliance report;
- a professional calculation, opinion, seal, or signature;
- an approval by an authority having jurisdiction (“AHJ”); or
- a guarantee that a design is lawful, safe, buildable, complete, or compliant.
A displayed citation, flag, threshold, or “pass” state does not establish compliance and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for a design, construction, procurement, permit, or life-safety decision.
Codes, standards, amendments, interpretations, and local requirements change and may not be fully represented in the Service.
The required workflow is:
VerSketch flags informational issues; a qualified architect or engineer verifies the design; the relevant AHJ makes the final determination.
VerSketch is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government authority, standards organisation, or code publisher unless expressly stated.
You remain fully responsible for obtaining professional review, signed calculations, required approvals, permits, and inspections.
9. Exports
Exports are generated from the project state and settings available at the time of export. You must inspect exported files for:
- missing or substituted fonts;
- clipped or overlapping annotations;
- incorrect scale, page size, units, or dimensions;
- unsupported geometry;
- conversion errors;
- incomplete layers or metadata; and
- differences introduced by third-party viewers or CAD software.
A VerSketch export is not a signed, sealed, certified, permit-ready, or construction-approved document unless a qualified professional independently reviews and certifies it as required by law.
10. Read-Only Share Links
A project owner may create a read-only share link. Anyone who obtains the link may be able to view the shared project without signing in.
You are responsible for:
- confirming which project and content are being shared;
- sending the link only to intended recipients;
- avoiding confidential or sensitive content unless sharing is authorised;
- revoking the link when it is no longer needed; and
- recognising that a recipient may copy, capture, download, or redistribute information visible through the link.
“Read-only” limits editing through the VerSketch interface but cannot prevent screenshots, manual copying, or recording by a recipient.
11. Intellectual-Property Notices
If you believe content available through VerSketch infringes your rights, send a notice to copyright@versketch.xyz containing:
- your name and contact information;
- identification of the protected work;
- identification and location of the allegedly infringing content;
- an explanation of your rights and why the use is unauthorised;
- a good-faith statement that the information is accurate; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We may request additional information, restrict access while reviewing a notice, notify the affected user, or restore content after a valid counter-notice.
A counter-notice should identify the removed material, explain why removal was mistaken or unauthorised, provide the sender’s contact information, and include a good-faith statement and signature.
We may suspend users who repeatedly or seriously infringe the rights of others. Submitting a knowingly false notice or counter-notice may create legal liability.
12. Paid Services and Stripe
Paid features are processed through Stripe.
The checkout screen will state the applicable price, currency, billing interval, taxes, and whether a subscription renews automatically. By completing checkout, you authorise Stripe and VerSketch to process the disclosed charges.
You may manage an eligible subscription through the Stripe billing portal or available account controls. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically refund charges already incurred.
Refunds
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer law. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal but does not refund the current billing period that has already been paid. This section is the policy referenced at https://versketch.xyz/terms#refunds.
Stripe’s terms and privacy notice apply to its payment processing. VerSketch does not store complete payment-card numbers or security codes.
13. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- access another user’s account or non-public project without authorisation;
- bypass authentication, rate limits, access controls, or subscription restrictions;
- probe, scan, or exploit the Service except through an authorised security programme;
- use automated requests in a manner that disrupts or degrades the Service;
- reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- upload malware or interfere with infrastructure;
- use the Service to misrepresent professional approval or regulatory compliance;
- remove ownership, licence, attribution, or safety notices;
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or dangerous activity; or
- assist another person in doing any of the above.
14. VerSketch Software and Branding
Except for User Content and third-party components, VerSketch retains all rights in the Service, including its software, interface, design systems, documentation, branding, and proprietary technology.
These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of VerSketch software or branding.
Open-source components remain governed by their respective licences.
15. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in the VerSketch Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed that Policy.
If you submit personal data concerning another person, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and providing any required notice.
16. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request project or account deletion through privacy@versketch.xyz.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to:
- protect users or infrastructure;
- investigate suspected fraud, infringement, or unlawful conduct;
- respond to a legal requirement;
- address non-payment;
- prevent material breach of these Terms; or
- manage a serious security risk.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Before closing an account, you should export important projects. Privacy and portability requests remain subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Sections concerning ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective after termination.
17. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, browser limitations, provider failures, network conditions, security incidents, or events outside our reasonable control may affect access.
We may modify a feature where necessary for security, legal compliance, compatibility, or product integrity. If a material change adversely affects an active paid subscription, any remedy required by applicable consumer law will remain available.
18. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
VerSketch does not warrant that:
- every result will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular project;
- every drawing will comply with a code, standard, contract, site condition, or professional duty;
- every local or cloud draft can be recovered;
- every export will render identically in third-party software; or
- the Service can replace professional judgement, field verification, testing, inspection, or approval.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that applicable consumer law does not permit us to exclude.
19. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other non-excludable responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerSketch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, contracts, data, business opportunity, or anticipated savings arising from use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerSketch’s aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid VerSketch for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or 3,000 Thai Baht (THB) if you paid nothing during that period.
These limitations apply only to the extent lawful in your jurisdiction and do not reduce mandatory consumer, privacy, or data-protection rights.
20. Indemnity for Business Use
If you use the Service on behalf of a business or professional practice, you will, to the extent permitted by law, indemnify VerSketch against third-party claims arising from:
- User Content you were not authorised to use;
- your unlawful or materially unsafe use of the Service;
- your misrepresentation of professional approval or compliance; or
- your material breach of these Terms.
This section does not apply where prohibited by consumer law or to the extent a claim was caused by VerSketch’s own unlawful conduct.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without excluding mandatory protections available to consumers or data subjects under applicable law.
Subject to mandatory consumer rights, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Thailand.
Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by contacting support@versketch.xyz.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational, or product reasons. We will publish the revised Terms with a new effective date.
Where a change materially affects an existing user’s rights, we will provide reasonable additional notice and obtain renewed agreement where required by law.
23. General Terms
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not transfer these Terms without our consent, except where applicable law gives you that right. We may transfer these Terms as part of a lawful merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable privacy and consumer protections.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any checkout terms accepted by you constitute the agreement governing the Service.
